I’m Angela Solomon—founder of A. Solomon Recruits & Growth Academy—but this didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a front-row seat to what happens when someone loses their career—and the system doesn’t catch them.
I grew up in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Watched brilliance go overlooked. Watched my uncle—a Revlon executive—lose his job and his sense of purpose. He never got a second chance. And I never forgot that.
That’s why I do this work.
I’ve spent over 25 years in the people game—leading with heart, grit, and results. I’ve placed more than 300 high-impact leaders. Built a nationally recognized, Black woman-owned search and coaching firm. And I’ve helped companies move from performative DEI to legacy-driven leadership that actually retains and respects the talent they bring in.
I’m not just a recruiter. I’m a career advocate, executive coach, and strategic partner who shows up when it’s hard—during transition, transformation, and trauma.
I coach professionals to reclaim their power. I help leaders rise without losing themselves. And I advise companies that want to do more than check boxes—they want to hire well, lead better, and build cultures where people thrive.
