Candidates should have strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
Senior counsels are responsible for handling various legal matters inside a law firm or business. Their specific tasks may vary depending on the needs of their organization and their specialty. You should be able to deal with complex, significant matters that cut across legal and related areas. You must be comfortable and capable of assuming leadership.
A mid-level or Junior Compliance officer is in charge of the administration of compliance processes and carries out routine, familiar and predictable work. The candidate must have the ability to develop knowledge and understanding of compliance and risk management matters relating to products and services. You should demonstrate an ability to acquire skills needed to perform compliance roles at a higher level, such as independent and team working and engagement with ethical concerns
